Illinois Youth Investment Program (IYIP)

The IYIP employment is a multifaceted approach to youth employment that invests in the future of Illinois youth. This approach to youth employment accounts for the youth employment barriers as well as the physical, emotional, social and mental health needs while helping them to secure and sustain long term career employment thereby ensuring a greater likelihood of success and self-sufficiency.

The program characteristics are:

• 16-24 years old
• Proof of Illinois residency
• 52 weeks of employment
• $15h for 20h a week

One Summer Chicago (OSC)

One Summer Chicago provides youth with employment and enrichment opportunities during the summer months. The program prepares youth for their job by offering workforce readiness training, financial literacy training, work etiquette and professional attire assistance, and conflict resolution and communication skill development.

Program Requirements:

• 16-24 years old
• Proof of City of Chicago residency
• 52 weeks of employment
• $15h for 20h a week
